1. Google or Bing mystery novel blogs, mystery novel reviewers, and similar terms. Go to the top 10 websites that aren’t Amazon or GoodReads or Library Thing. Offer to provide a review copy of your book to those top websites or blogs. Also offer to do an interview with them (podcast, Internet radio show, teleseminar, Google Hangout, etc. – whatever format they use for their interviews).
If you contact 30 such websites, you should get at least 5 pickups where they either review your book, excerpt your book, or interview you. Make sure you’re clear why your book would appeal to their website visitors or blog readers.
